Description: A lovely set of 4 Victorian silver salts or could be used for other condiments made by Charles Stuart Harris and hallmarked in London in 1895. The salts are cauldron shaped with embossed decoration to the bowls. Each sits on 3 pad feet. They are a medium to larger size and made from a good thick gauge silver. The insides of the bowls are gilded to protect the silver from any corrosive elements in the food. All are fully hallmarked on their bases. The bowls are not crested or initialled or otherwise personalised. Height: 4.5 cm Width widest part: 7.5 cm Weight: 348 grams combined Condition: In good excellent condition commensurate with age and light usage. Usual surface marks etc in keeping with antique silver. All hallmarks present and correct and in good order. Gilding good. Please see photographs which are an integral part of the description.
