Description: Up for sale is a mint condition, extremely hard to find Vietnam Naval Service medal from the Republic of Vietnam for US Service members. I discovered this award by accident years ago, not knowing it was available to those who served in Vietnam naval operations. I think many other fellow Veterans were in the same boat, so-to-speak. This medal has a new ribbon, not sure, but may be a replacement. It has no puncture marks from a device and is in pristine condition. The medal shows some light toning with age. There are no mars or scratches on the medal. This is a set of both the full sized medal and the companion ribbon (with clutch bar) and comes in a case for full sized medals. It will make an outstanding to any Vietnam War historical or military collection! Note that there are print on demand certificates of this award that could make a handsome addition create and overall package.
