VINTAGE 10 X MFG CO. VEST w KAISER ALUMINUM & CHEMICAL CORP TRAP SHOOTERS PATCH

Description: Offered here is a vintage hunter's or target shooter's vest. A cloth patch on the collar pictures a pheasant and reads, "10X - AMERICA'S FINEST CLOTHING. 10 X MFG. CO. DES MOINES, IOWA...MADE IN U.S.A." It is marked, "PROFESSIONALLY DRY CLEAN ONLY." It's hard to see, but a tag is marked, "65% Dacron - 35 % Polyester." Next to the area marked, "Size" it is HAND WRITTEN "34." (As this is HAND WRITTEN, I can't say if the size is correct, but it seems to be around that size.) A large patch on the BACK pictures a rat shooting the cheese off a mouse trap, and reads, "KAISER ALUMINUM & CHEMICAL CORPORATION UNION CITY TRAP SHOOTERS." On the FRONT of the vest, there are patches from four different competitions, including: Pacific International Trap Shooting Association, 2 different Washington Township Sportsman Club patches, (One marked, "Freemont, California") and a patch marked, "25 Straight Ithacagun Trap." In addition, the front is embroidered with the name, "Dayton." The overall condition is GOOD. IT COULD USE A PROPER DRY CLEANING. The patch that is shaped like a shotgun shell is made of wool, or felt, and has a couple of moth holes. I'm not sure WHEN this was made, but it appears to "have some age on it."
