Description: Vintage 1930s Cast Iron Detecto Baby Scale, 30 lbs Capacity, Jacob Bros Co. Great vintage Detecto metal baby scale from 1930s with original hanging weight (10lb counterbalance). The base is cast iron, the rest is a lighter metal. Cream color paint has some wear and discoloration to it from use and storage over the years. The scale still holds true for measuring weight. Measures 20" long by 19" wide as shown in pictures. When item is shipped, the center screw will be loosened and the tray twisted so it lays in line with the scale instead of perpendicular.
