Description: I bought this almost 40 years ago in San Francisco. Looked exactly like this with the exception of the seam work needed. Epaulets were already gone and the lining had been replaced long before then. Zippers all work and this jacket has always been both comfortable and stiff enough to stand on its own without a hanger in the house. It outlived 5 bikes on my watch and I wore about as much as my Langlitz. About 15 yrs back I got wider in the shoulders and the seams were no longer easilly ignored. So I set it aside in hopes of finding the right person to work on the seams. It's a great jacket to put it mildly. With a whole lot of life left in it. Two things needed to make that happen: It fits a 40/41 in the shoulders thin person. And you know someone with a great reputation who can do this stitching, preferably right in the original thread holes. This is the real deal.
