Description: Vintage 1940s Patchwork Quilt Wool Throw Blanket Hand Made 36x48 This Blanket / Lap Robe was made in early 1940s The Wine Purple patches and lining side came from a snow suit from roughly 1938-1939. The plaid patches came from a blanket from the late 1910s (1918s roughly) This was passed down generations and was received directly from the family. A note with all the information about the history was included pinned to the blanket. (last image) Traveled back and forth from Fort Dix NJ, Jamestown and finally arrived in California.
