Description: Vintage 1950s zenith radio model H-511. I bought this radio earlier this year, it was painted completely over yellow. I gave it a shot to try and save the original color and here is the results. I used a plastic scraper to gently lift and peel the yellow paint off. There is still spots that will need attention showing the yellow over spray. the glitter on the knobs and radio face I didn't have much luck with. Some type of glued on? The case is in fantastic shape and wouldn't of invested the time if it wasn't. Electronics from what I can see are completely original. I removed chassis for pictures but will be reassembled for shipping. Did not attempt to turn on. Dial cord is gone so can't tune using knob. Measures 13 1/2 inches long. 7 1/2 wide with knobs on. Will remove knobs and protect for shipping. Thanks for looking.
