Description: Original 1962 Fender Duo Sonic body with original tortoise guard. Finish is faded, well checked, and flaked off in some areas, but I believe it to be original. These sunbursts were done cheaply, due to these being student models, and they do not always age well, but it still has that cool, Fender pre-cbs vibe. The guard is a really nice, dark one, with a black beveled edge. It also has its original aluminum shield. It looks like the neck pickup and switch holes have been slightly enlarged, but still should function properly. Body is light, and weighs about 4 lbs. 6 oz. With a bit of work and parts this will make a great vintage piece.
