Description: For your consideration is this rare vintage 1970s New York Yankees baseball cap, manufactured in the USA by new Era. 100% wool. Old style New Era tagging, buckram, and taping, with a cloth sweatband. I would estimate it is from the first half of the 70s. The size tag is not easy to read but appears to be a size 7. (Also, I wear a 7 1/4 in current New Era caps, and this one is very small on me). The condition is as shown in the photos. Like the rest of the cap, the bill shows wear but is not cracked or brittle.
