VINTAGE 1972 OMEGA SEAMASTER JEDI CHRONOGRAPH LEMANIA 24 HOUR REF. 176.005 AUTO

Description: Omega Seamaster goldplated 20 microns- 1972 JEDI chronograph in full working condition, recently serviced, with a mineral glass 34 million Serial number (it is marked at the rotor). This is a massive case for the time, 42 x 49mm w/o counting the Omega signed crown (new) and pushers (new), these parts were changed because the goldplate was worn, it happens with almost all of these models. The case was polished and it is in good conditions for the age, has a few marks here and there but certainly don’t mess up the set. Please observe all images. The base movement is a LEMANIA and the Omega caliber is 1040, this is a fabulous chronograph movement, and it counts down the seconds and minutes centrally, each elapsed minute is shown very clearly with the additional Chronograph minute counter that has a sort of a plus at the tips of it. The Chronograph seconds are above it, and move as a central seconds hand does when activated. There is a 24 hours, or GMT feature located to the 9 o'clock region, and it is indicated by a smaller pointed disk-hand it is actually a disc rotating once every 24 hours. The Chronograph hours are indicated at 6 o'clock. The dial is very beautiful, original, golden color, inner bezel ring marks the tachymetre, also original. It is very pleasant and in good original conditions, has some patina and wear points, but still in very good conditions, you can see. Original screwed caseback in ss steel, all signed. Model ref. 176.005 Wristband is a sport croco pattern, black genuine leather, 20mm, white stitched, great new band. Overall is an unusual Omega Seamaster chronograph in very good order, every function of this great high end Lemania-Omega movement works as it should, keeps time, look great at the wrist, you will be certainly noticed!
