Description: A vintage Astatic Golden Eagle D-104 #09680 with the original brown cord and wired with a male 2 pin connector as found on the Browning Golden Eagle Mk III CB radio and the Mk I & II as well. This microphone was found with a Browning Mark III CB radio. This microphone is in good cosmetic condition but with some wearing of the gold plating on the base. This was a limited edition microphone made by Astatic in 1976 for the American bicentennial in a small quantity for only one or two years before the design was retired. This was part of a massive lifetime estate collection of a CB and HAM operator that consists of over 40 base stations and dozens of boxes of related equipment. The microphone has not been tested, however it was stored under a protective cover in a dry environment. This item is being sold as a collectible only with no accepted returns on any radio equipment over 30 years old. This item will be sent in a well padded box and insured to protect against any potential damage during shipping.
