Features energy-saving capabilities and is machine washable for convenience. There are some melted blue tape marks on the fabric as shown. Not sure if this is removeable. There was sticky tape residue on the cords too - which i cleaned off with goo gone and alcohol. There may still be traces of residue. UL listed, designed for cozy comfort during colder months.
