Description: This belonged to my father and he used it as a child and throughout his career as a music teacher. Unfortunately he is no longer in good health and does not remember the stand. Time to pass on for someone else to enjoy. Will be listing his trumpet as well down the road. He has lost most of his speech and I’m not able to get anymore details. This is a vintage/antique horn stand. It’s a tripod and is portable, and stands 22”-24.75” tall. I think it would normally be beside a player in a chair or perhaps on a table. Folds up easily and can be taken apart at the center, making it around 12” long. The spring works well and wooden parts are in good condition with pads on the bottom section. The black piece at the top seems a bit used and of course there is some rusting on the metal. The legs and the adjusting screw works well. Great for displaying a vintage horn.
