Description: Vintage African or Jamaican Woman Clay Sculpture. Her dress, head scarf, and pot are glazed, with her skin left in natural color, without glaze. Made by my mother, Eleanor Holland, in the 1940s. My mother would have been in her twenties. My mother was an artist who made art pieces in many mediums. Later in life, she became interested in dolls, and repaired antique dolls, made reproductions, and modeled some originals. My mother passed in 2004, and we are selling some of her creations.
