Vintage Aladdin Lincoln Drape 2 Tone Amber Oil Lamp ~ Removable Base ~

Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique lighting. This is a vintage Aladdin oil or Kerosene lamp. This is a two tone Amber glass Aladdin Lincoln Drape oil lamp. The lower base is a slightly darker amber than the upper oil reservoir. Also, this one has the removable base(pic #3 #4). You can take reservoir off and use in different ways. You can see the small peg and hole in lamp and base. No glue residue as this was made this way. Selling as pictured ( No Shade, No Chimney). This is vintage and dates to the 1970s. Has its original Aladdin burner marked 23. Has the 3 prong shade holder but no shade as mentioned. Marked on bottom of the base Aladdin and date of 1979. Dates to 1979. The burner works fine but takes a little muscle to turn. The burner itself is on very tight and I am unable to twist it off. I had it off when I first got it a few years ago, but it's been in storage. Good condition for age. Has typical glass manufacturing flaws. Most notable there is a small interior manufacturing crack on the interior of the reservoir (on interior ONLY and not on surface at all and in the making flaws pic #11). Selling as pictured (No chimney or shade). Nice two tone removable base example. Overall measures just about 12 3/4" to top of top of burner. Pictures considered part of the description .
