Acquired through as a family gift 30+ years ago from a World War I Air Force Veteran whom traveled the world and that passed away in 2002 (my inheritance from my Grandfather who passed in 2010) so this has traveled down our family for a very long time. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A STOOL TO SIT OR STAND ON BECAUSE IT WILL BREAK! THE BOARD BENEATH THE CUSHION IS FRAGILE AND DELICATE. THE CUSHION WAS NEVER CLEANED WITH ANY LIQUID BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE IT'S AGED AND CRACKING. ZIPPERS WERE CREATED IN THE LATE 1800's AND THIS ONE APPEARS TO BE FROM THE 1900-30's. THE HEAD AND LEGS ARE HARD WOOD THAT'S AGED, BUT STILL LOOKS FANTASTIC AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.
