Description: Vintage Art Deco Farberware Chrome & Bakelite Compote Pedestal Candy Dish This Faberware dish was made in the 1930s or 1940s. The shallow chrome dish is fixed to a ridged butterscotch/amber colored Bakelite pedestal. The underside is marked "Faberware Brooklyn NY". It measures approx. 3.25" tall and the dish measures approx. 5.25" in diameter. This would be great as a candy dish, during the holidays to hold bulbs/twinkle lights, used as bookshelf decor, etc. You can see in the pictures that the bowl has quite a bit of scratching and some tarnishing, but it's still a great Art Deco piece. Please let me know if you have any questions.
