Description: Vintage Bearcat Thin Scan Monitor L/H Model BC Two Four Scanner PARTS / REPAIR BEING SOLD FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. The battery terminals have corrosion. I cleaned them up a bit, but could not get the unit to turn on with batteries. I was able to get the unit to turn on with a generic 6V adapter (not included). But in scan mode, it will stop on a channel and stay there, with no signal. Manual mode seems to work, along with the manual selection advance button and lockout switches. Squelch and volume seem to work. I was not able to pick up any signal with the 4 crystals included. There is a name & phone number sticker on one side (see pic 9). Free shipping in the USA.
