Description: For sale is a Vintage Blue MSA Skull Gard Fiberglass Mining Safety Hard Hat w/ Suspension. Dated 1976. It appears to have been orange originally, but was painted blue. Has a metal attachment on the front for hooking a lantern onto and a metal clip on the back (maybe for the electric lantern cord). Both are riveted in place. Pre-owned condition. Shows some signs of wear from age and use. No cracks or damage. The suspension is quite dirty and may need cleaning. Please see photos for more details. Photos are part of the description.
