This super chunky bangle bracelet has been hidden away in a stash of old jewelry for DECADES! As it never sees the light of day, it deserves to be worn and enjoyed! Again, my guess that it has an African "Ethnic" flair is my opinion. Centered stone set in a very deep vessel with fantastic side hinges to allow both sides to rotate, I'M GUESSING is Colored Moonstone. The black substance I believe to be bone based on the striations visible on the underside....visible in Photos #9 and #12. All the silver metal findings could be ALUMINUM?? The well made closure holds both sides with a notch on one end that slides into the other and then is held in place by the peg that CANNOT BE REMOVED....yay!!....it can never be lost!! Rounded width is roughly 2" with INNER diameter when closed 2 3/8" -- inner perimeter is 7". Some visible nicks on the black surface are visible near the latch which I think adds to the tribal "feel", but could be faced down when being worn.
