Description: Vintage Citizen Electronic Cosmotron Special Kanji June 1973 This is a 1973 Citizen Cosmotron with a silver toned dial. The movement beats at 36000 times per hour. This is an electro-mechanical watch which means it has elements of a traditional manual wind/automatic watch, but uses a battery and transistors as well--It is a hybrid technology and should not be considered to function in the same way as does an automatic. The date and day can be set using the crown (When the watch is held upright, date correction becomes possible, while held upside down day correction is possible using push in crown quickset). 36.5mm case. The pusher at the 8 marker resets the second hand to 12. The screw cap on the case back allows for regulation. A VIDEO OF THE WATCH IN OPERATION CAN BE MADE AVAILABLE TO PROSPECTIVE BUYERS (USUALLY WITHIN 24 HOURS) Condition: USED. There are light signs of wear and use to the case, dial, crystal, caseback, and bracelet that are to be expected on a 51 year old watch. It has been inspected and observed in operation for twenty four hours and its functionality has been confirmed by at least two of our staff. It will be further inspected prior to shipment.
