Description: This is a Vintage Die Cast Pewter Train Locomotive, Steam Engine. From unknown origin or date. The locomotive measures 6" long, 2 1/8" wide and 3 1/2"tall. It weighs just over a pound. It appears that the locomotive casting was intended tobe a piggy bank; however, it is missing the bottom cover.On close inspection, there are no marks or remnants toindicate that a cover was ever attached to the bottom.This piece might have been removed from the assemblyline prior to it's completion. It makes a nice display and conversation piece for a train collector.
