Description: Up for sale is this Vintage ERTL Massey Harris No. 1 Tractor On Steel 1/16 Farm Progress Show 1993. Massey-Harris No.1 was built at Weston Works of Toronto, Ontario from 1918 to 1922. It measured 12 feet long, 6 feet wide, 5 feet 6 inches high, with a 92 inch wheelbase, and weighed 5,200 pounds. The 4 cylinder motor, with self contained positive oiling system and high tension magneto with impulse starter, ran on gasoline or kerosene and was water cooled. It rated at 12 hp on the drawbar and 22 hp on the brake at 1,000 rpm. Forward low speed was at 1 3/4 mph, forward high at 2 3/8 mph and reverse at 1.8 mph. This 1/16 scale model, made by Joseph L Ertl, inc., faithfully recreates this classic tractor, in a sandcast mold with FPS Engraving & Seal, as well as authentic decals and colors. This item is in new condition, unremoved from the original box. Box does show some signs of wear from age & storage. Please see photos for exact condition and measurements of the item.
