Description: Description: This set of Copper Pans are beautiful and exceedingly rare. Very seldomly have I had the privilege to have an Allez Freres piece come into my shop! Let alone a complete set with lids. They are each stamped with Etablissement Allez Freres Paris on one side and the other side has the sizing stamped on each piece. Allez Freres is the only company that I know that does this. There is a metal coating on the inside for cooking. They have bubble copper rivets which are my favorite! The handles have holes at the end so they can be hung up. This set comes with matching lids for 3 of the sizes which makes this set even more unusual. The walls of the six pans are lightly hammered giving them a multidimensional feel and look to them. It's Story: Allez Freres was a world famous kitchenware store in Chatelet, Paris. It it no longer in existence. I can not even express how beyond rare this set is. I have never seen a complete set like this one.
