Description: From what I can determine, this set was handmade but used what was probably an adult outfit and repurposed it. Thus the tag that appears in one of the skirt seams. I had a doll dress in almost the identical fabric, a very similar silk print, that my grandmother made for my doll inn about 1960.I have added photographs of the inside of the garment as well as the outer.The top has little buttons and rhinestone shank buttons for accent. Additionally they have used vintage velvet ribbon and lace. The total length from shoulder to bottom of the top measures 9"Back width from armhole to armhole measures 6"The armhole circumference is about 7".The skirt has adjustable elastic that can be pulled to fit the waist.The skirt length is 15".There is a little bit of raw edge at the bottom, where the fine silk fabric has frayed at the hem fold.
