Description: Vintage FoLkART 50's 60's 70's 5 Gallon Glass Water Bottle Jug Embossed Base 5250 Don't have much back info on this unique jug. I found it several years ago in a storage unit. It appears to be from the 50's, 60's or 70's. The collage of pictures appears to be items cut from magazines, flyers, maybe newspapers, etc. and glued onto the jug then applied with some sort of glaze that appears to have withheld the test of time because it is in very good condition for its age. None of the pics are peeling off or show signs of starting to peel off. There is a section at the top of the neck of the jug that has a small spot missing but other than that I don't see any other issues. Not broken or cracked. The very top of the jug was painted black to I guess match the jug collage somewhat but that paint appears to come off rather easily if one wanted to remove it. The jug though is actually a clear 5 gallon jug with the only embossment being on the bottom. As far as the pics go, I see a wide array of different images that I hope you can see as well by blowing up the photos within this listing. Some of the ones that stand out to me are: A Mickey Mouse pic, Sanka coffee, Champion spark plugs, Chuck Wagon, Manwich, Super Sugar Crisps, Snoopy, Franco American Mac n Cheese, Tender Vittles, Campbells Soup, Jim Dandy, Polident, Schick, Smiley Faces, Chef Boy-ar-dee, Several different candy bars, Charlie Brown, Several Old Cars, Superman and a building that is on fire at the top that made me think of the twin towers:( One of those things that you could stare at and think you saw everything then look at it again and see something new, very unique piece that takes you back in time.
