Description: Vintage Gabilla Perfume La Vierge Folle Perfume Bottle w Stopper Frozen No label Click images to enlarge Description Up for auction is a vintage Gabilla Perfume Bottle with no label. This bottle was frequently used for the fragrance; La Vierge Folle used in the 1930’s. . This is a clear glass bottle that is rectangular shaped. All over the bottle are tiny, molded squares that have an edge to each side of each tiny square. The face of each square is about ¼”. There is no paper label, but this bottle can be found in Worth Point. The glass stopper has thin ridges that go around a round portion of the stopper, with the stopper using pie shaped points on top of the edging. The stopper is stuck in the bottle, that is I cannot remove. The bottle appears to have a perfume or colored water in the bottle. At the bottom corner of the bottle, inside the bottle is a dark object that I am guessing could have been the original cork stopper portion. The glass has a very silky feel to it. On the underside of the bottle, I found a patent number which I believe reads: 98869. This would correlate to a 1936 patent, which is around the time period this fragrance was made. There is no onion skin sealed around the bottle lip/neck, so this may have been opened at some point, I do not know. Perfume is not guaranteed, due to the age.
