She is known for her paintings of large flowers, New York skyscrapers and New Mexico landscapes. O'Keeffe has been recognized as the "Mother of American modernism". In the early 1920s, Georgia O'Keeffe embarked on a visual exploration of Manhattan, capturing the essence of city life and culture in twenty-four surviving works. One of her most famous pieces, "New York Night" features the facade of The Benjamin (formerly the Hotel Beverly) as it stands in the city skyline at night. Good vintage condition.
