Description: Vintage GT Timberline FS 20” Chromoly Frameset W Extra Parts . Shipped with Canada post, tracking number included Selling a rare vintage GT Timberline FS 20” Chromoly frameset for 26” wheels size , in “Team Scream” colorways. Comes as shown in pictures with frame, fork, headset, front suspension shocks, quill stem, handlebars, seat, seatpost, and bottom bracket with crank bolts. See pictures and descriptions for condition Frameset is marked as 20” , 4130 Chromoly main tubes and stays . No cracks, dents, dings or any structural damage showing anywhere. No rust or oxidation showing. Dropouts are straight with no damage, derailleur threads are good . Seatpost moves freely and headset threads off easily, no damage to headset threads on forks . Brake mounts are good with no damage. I did not try to remove the bottom bracket, but should come out easily as there is no rust showing. Paint is quite bright and not very faded . Most decals intact and showing well, some small scratches and paint wear in areas . Some larger scratches under bottom tube , on top of top tube, and drive side chainstay ( see pictures ) Overall in very good structural condition, and showing well, only small aesthetic scratches in some areas Bottom bracket spins quiet and smooth with no bearing play . Includes crank bolts in nice rust free condition GT branded alloy flat handlebars in excellent condition, no damage to handlebar ends, original and uncut bars . Excellent condition other than a few small scratches 1 1/8 quill stem in excellent condition, includes top cover cap , everything threads freely, a few minor scratches but otherwise excellent condition 1 1/8 threaded headset shows no branding. Works excellent, threads freely, no damage showing . A few small scratches but fully functional. Would recommend some grease and service but otherwise excellent condition Front RockShox suspension shocks in good used condition. Complete with no missing parts . Has rare cantilever brake mount . Rubber covers in excellent condition, but could use cleaning. Shocks work good, rebound ok, maybe a bit on the stiffer side. Could probably benefit from a service, as service history is unknown. Very old model shocks, will not perform like newer shocks, but still fully functional as is, working great for their age . Decals still intact, but some scratches showing on both sides of the shocks . Some rust coloration showing on 2 bolts . Overall in decent used condition for their age , and fully functional with no missing parts Comes with alloy seatpost that fits the frame and appears to be original. Working great with no missing parts Also comes with what appears to be the original GT branded saddle . In ok condition but showing small tears/rips on both side corners Very cool retro GT Chromoly frameset in rare colorways , great start to a nice build !
