Description: Vintage Guerlain, Chant D’Aromes Eau De Cologne – Sealed Square Travel Perfume Click images to enlarge Description Up for Auction is a Vintage Guerlain, Chant D’Aromes Eau de Cologne bottle. This bottle was considered a travel bottle. It is still sealed, and the label is in good condition so I am showing it is new since it was not opened. This fragrance was introduced in 1962 and this presentation was also used in 1962. The condition of the square, clear glass or crystal bottle is excellent. On the underside of the bottle is embossed the word: Guerlain. The white round paper label with embossing on the edges is in great condition. The center of the label still appears white and does not appear to have had the pale peach coloration associated with some of this fragrance labels. The screwcap is brass, with a plastic ribbing on the base of the cap. The cap comes on and off fine. As you can see in photo 6, this fragrance is still sealed with the original silver metal button. There is some writing on the base of the brass stopper which reads: Guerlain - Paris – France. I have not tried to polish up the brass cap, will leave up to new owner if they prefer a shiny finish. This fragrance has been defined as a Chypre Floral scent. Due to the age of this bottle, I don’t know what the fragrance will smell like, so it is not guaranteed. However, it may be a surprise and smell great since it has always been sealed. However, also due to the age, the longevity will be affected, and it will not stay on your skin as long as a new bottle off the shelf. Height of this bottle is: about 3 ½ inches tall.
