Description: This is a beautiful hand made inlaid wood peg board game complete with the wooden pegs, made in the 1940s. It is inlaid with mahogany and what appears to be maple or oak. This game is played by one person and involves jumping and removing pegs until just one single peg is left in the center hole. Pasted on the bottom is the moves sequence for several solutions to the game. The board was hand made in the pattern shop of the manufacturing firm Barber Greene in Aurora, IL, around the late 1940s. It measures about 8 inches by 7 3/4 inches and is about 3/4 inches thick. Complete with 32 handmade pegs. This is a one of a kind handmade game and a nice wooden work of art. Satisfaction guaranteed.
