Vintage Hexagon Shape Bombay Style Wooden Box w/Lid Hand Crafted & Painted Rare

Description: This beautiful Bombay style wooden box is quite unique, a rare find. The shape is hexagon, six sided, yielding a large inner capacity for whatever treasure you wish to store inside. It measures larger than others I’ve seen at approximately 11” or more at widest width, lid is 7 – 8” wide, and 12” tall. The lid is crafted with a striking basket weave design and a notable pineapple shaped handle sitting within a 6-pointed blossom. The body of the box is ornamental with a floral design in woodsy pale colors, more on the warmer side than the pictures portray. Very stately indeed. This item is mysterious and may hold the answers to the universe inside considering it's traveled the world for many years. A must have wooden box. Please note. This item is in excellent vintage condition. No scratches, chips, or repairs. Please review the pictures with care. The only flaw is in the quality of the pics.
