Description: Dramatic, beautiful mid-century Somerso Italian glass faceted ashtray. Research shows this is most likely, but not guaranteed to be, by Flavio Poli for Barovier, Seguso and Ferro, Murano Italy. Paoli's Somerso glass, submerged glass pieces, which were made by layering transparent colors and textures. It is 5" in diameter and 2 & 3/8" tall. NOTE: This piece is in excellent but not mint condition. There is one tiny pin prick flea bite on one edge and 2 equally small marks on one facet - see photos. None of which are easily visible.
