Description: You are buying a Vintage Japanese Kotobuki Tetsubin Black Hailstone Pattern Cast Iron Teapot that I purchased in a Seattle Asian Market 15+ years ago. It is in excellent condition and has embosed signed markings on the bottom and an original paper label on the underside of the lid (see actual photos). The teapot has a removable stainless steel mesh infuser basket and coated interior to prevent rust. It doesn't appear to ever have been used and I have only used it as a display item with attached protective felt pads in a non-smoking / non-pet environment. It has a 16 ounce capacity and measures approximately 5" high to top of extended handle and 7 ¼" at widest point and weighs 2 lbs 9 ounces. You will love it. Thank you for your interest.
