Description: This is a mostly empty clear bottle of Watkins Imitation Black Walnut Flavor made in the 1920’s. There is very minor wear on the paper label. Overall, it is in great vintage condition. The bottle also has an uncommon handle. It previously belonged to my father, who sold Watkins products in the sixties, seventies and eighties and loved to collect their old tins, bottles and books. This is a wonderful addition to any J.R. Watkins or old bottle collection! The J.R. Watkins Company was founded in 1868 and today continues to sell household products (home and health remedies as well as baking products). Many people still remember the Watkins man who came door to door in a horse-drawn wagon traveling around the countryside many decades ago.
