Description: This is a very early Ludwig WeatherMaster 20” bass drum head. This version has a small decal instead of the later versions that had the 3 circle logo. I think this head was probably made around 1962. The head has been used and has some marks and scuffs and a few small dents on it. It has a felt beater pad on it. I tried to get some different angles in the light to show the condition in the pictures. It is a single-ply head that has a smooth coating on it. I would say it would compare closely to a modern Remo Smooth White Diplomat.
