Description: As time goes by I find Miramar of California harder to find. Post WW2 California was flooded with pottery and ceramic companies. Miramar was and is one of the better known. Started in East Los Angeles in 1950 they made decorative and utilitarian products for 17 years. In the mid 60's they phased out the ceramics and bended to the "Melmac" craze. Unfortunately pottery companies like so many others could not produce their quality products for the price of foreign knock-offs.
