Description: My parents owned a Collectibles and Toy store back in the 1990s. They had a wonderful assortment of collectible stuffed animals, but too many to keep now that they have retired. A special piece of the Christmas holiday season; she is named Second Hand Rose and is a Limited Edition brown mohair bear (No. 10 of 225) from the Michaud Collection from Time-Rider Inc. Made in Great Britain by The Dean's Rag Book Ltd. The tags include the information above and 1005 Mohair Pile. She is a soft pale brown color with a more slender profile than many of the other bears. A pensive little face. She is wearing a maroon velvet Christmas season hooded cape with green fur edges, gold accents and clasp and a pretty paisley interior. I think that this was not original to the bear, but a piece that was added. It fits her well so I have left them together as a set. There is no tag or information on the cape. She is fully jointed but her head does not swivel. This mohair teddy bear was hand made in Great Britain under the direction of Terry & Doris Michaud, world famous teddy bear authorities from my home state of Michigan! This is a limited edition piece and in really wonderful vintage condition and ready to add a sweet touch to your décor. There does appear to be a repair to the face above the right eye - expertly done, but there none the less. Dimensions:16" tall, 8" across arms10 1/2" tall and 7" deep when seated
