Description: The round, lightweight wood, which is boiled and bent to create the shape, is both hand etched and hand painted. Unsure exactly of the type of wood, but some research suggested that most were made from cherry. Many were used as a sewing box, or as a pantry storage box. As seen in the pics, the cover shows two cats playing with a multicolored string toy. The box measures 2-3/4” high, and is 6/1/2” in diameter. It’s in really nice condition for its age, and seemingly shows no signs of damage. This comes from a smoke free home.
