Description: Item Description: NFL QUARTERBACK METAL LUNCHBOX from Aladdin Industries 1964. This very rare R-7 embossed BOX features a pass play between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers on the front panel – and a field goal (or extra point) attempt between the New York Giants and the Cleveland Browns on the back. The rim panels depict players in classic football card poses from the 14 NFL teams present when this box was made - along with the team logos. Rounding out this amazing piece by the master himself, AL art director Elmer Lehnhardt (who invented the “deep-relief 3-D embossing” featured on the main panels of this box), is the thermos showing 11 different penalty signals by the referee. By far the best football- themed lunchkit in my mind – and a must-have for the football fan with or without a man-cave to display this classic!
