A legendary lens from the Nikon F and F2 body era. One of the sharper lenses built by Nikon... focus and zoom works smoothly...push-pull zoom is about as loose as most lenses of this era. Very sharp, great contrast...focuses quickly...aperture is dry and snappy...glass has no fungus...only trace dust as usual body has a few wear marks...just barely, really a nice lens...produces phenomenal images on my digital bodies. Lens can be used on those digital Nikon bodies that have the non-cpu lens feature...produces surprisingly sharp images...old school technology was better than we imagined!
