Description: Vintage Otagiri Stoneware Japan SOUP Mugs Blue Flowers with Handles MCM Set Of 4. In very good vintage condition. Each soup mug has small glaze imperfections on it but one of the mugs has one on the inside of the mug - see close up on the last photo. These heavy duty stoneware mugs feature three panels with a single blue that has eight petals in each panel separated by a thick brown line. It has a speckled glaze that is more speckled on some areas than on others. Each mug is 2 1/2” tall and has a 4 1/2” diameter. They hold 14 ounces. Great retro design for anyone that has a midcentury modern style in their kitchen. Because these mugs are hand painted there are slight variations in the design on each one.
