Description: Vintage Pair (2) Ampex (JBL) 8" Midrange Mid Range Drivers Speakers 50's Working So the story I was told is that Ampex made these for JBL, or perhaps its the other way around? Very nice cone driver and these sound very, very good. Tested both with source music (using crossover) and meter and both test good. Paper cones on both are in excellent condition. No issues. See pictures. These are 16 ohm drivers. I really do not know the handling power (watts) but I would not push them too hard as things made from this ear (50's) was designed to be driven by a not super powerful tube amplifier.
