Pink ruby like cabochon inset. Gold plated exterior. Little handle I fed the chain through. The gold plating is rubbing quite a bit on the back and a little bit on the front , but honestly, it lends itself to it being older and having history. I don't smell any remnants of perfume. I'm not sure if it was ever actually used for that. The cabochon is fading a little bit, but I still think it looks great. Overall, it looks unique, older, and cool. I selected this chain for its gold color, which is very similar to the bottle plating color. I did have to remove the last bail to feed the chain through the handle. You would have to do the same to put a different chain on. The pendent doesn't slide along the chain. It stays in place I would consider the chain a fancy chain with clover like links. It is extra long at forty-eight inches and very nearly flawless. The lobster claw clasp functions perfectly and is also well maintained. I personally like it hanging this low, but you might prefer it higher. All jewelry is stored and shipped in individual bags for preservation and protection. I video and photograph all shipments.
