Vintage Pioneer Stereo Cassette Tape Deck Ct-850

Description: This listing is for a vintage pioneer stereo cassette tape deck, model ct-850 in very good condition. It has Dolby B and C noise reduction, it's in very nice physical condition. However, I tried to put a head cleaner in it and although it turns on one side the tape does not get spooled on the other. I didn't want to try a regular cassette, because I don't really have any that are expendable. I was afraid the cassette might get tangled in there etc. I opened it up and you can see the motor turning and I see two belts that are intact. To someone who knows what they are doing, I bet this is probably a very small problem. Also, the recording level knob looks like it might need some kind of retaining ring around it, just by the looks of it. It turns freely etc, but looks a little odd. Maybe it is a non-original knob. Anyway, this is a nice stereo cassette deck that will make a great addition to your collection of vintage hi-fi. It probably only needs some Light maintenance to be up and running again, but I am selling it as it is.
