Description: MY ORIGINAL ASKING PRICE: $18.00 This vintage Japanese rice bowl (from the World War II era) features a beautiful floral design that showcases the intricate artistry of Japanese culture. Crafted from high-quality porcelain, this bowl is a true work of art that is sure to impress any collector. The provenance of this bowl is not available, but it is clear that it was made in Japan and features traditional Japanese design elements. This handmade bowl is perfect for anyone who appreciates the beauty and uniqueness of Japanese culture. It is a great addition to any collection of Asian collectibles and is sure to be a conversation starter. Whether you are a collector or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of Japanese art, this vintage rice bowl is a must-have. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The bottom of this bowl does show age & shelf life. There is also fading & discoloration inside the bowl that is also due to age. I found an identical bowl online & oddly, the exact discoloration or fading was in that bowl & the seller referenced that her uncle had brought back to the U.S. after he returned from World War II, so I assume this bowl is of the very same time period since the bowls are identical. The bowl is actually in great condition for its age & there are no chips or cracks. Please view all photos that are attached. It measures 5-1/4” in diameter at the top x 2-7/8” in height. The pedestal measures 1/2” x 2-1/2” in diameter. It weighs 9.0 oz.
