Description: Premier Super 4 snare drum. Fully working, good condition. 1950's, possibly early 60's era with the small badge. 3 ply birch shell with re-rings. 14" x 4", 8 lug. Has the old type snare mechanism as fitted to the Super Ace and early Royal Ace. In very good working order with a clear and firm action, which stays in position perfectly. Has the original 18 strand wire which has some twists when slack but stretches very well under tension for a firm and positive contact with the snare head. The chrome has some light pitting and scuffs in places but generally good. Premier Everplay snare head and Remo X, both in good condition. Overall a very nice original snare drum. Ready to play.
