It has been stripped cleaned and reassembled with new seals fitted. The pan ring has been finished with heat resistant stove paint. The burner has been cleaned and polished as has the spirit cup. Companion were built under Licence in Melbourne Australia. They are made to exact SVEA specifications and are fully interchangeable with SVEA and Primus for parts. It has undergone ultrasonic cleaning followed by a five stage buffing and polishing process It readily polishes to a golden shine. All the hard restoration work has been done.
