Description: VINTAGE QUADRAFLEX 676 AM FM STEREO RECEIVER -TESTED (WORKS) WITH MANUAL Estate Sale Find - Excellent Condition - Well Taken Care Of! Late 1970's (78) vintage audiophile higher-end gear. Quadraflex was a house brand sold by Pacific Stereo, originally started in Berkley, California with outlets mostly in the western US, to directly compete with higher-end Japanese products and provide audiophiles a chance to purchase well made receivers, speakers, turntables among other high end component brands. This receiver has been across my bench and completely tested. You'll be hard pressed to find another in this condition where all knobs are present, work, and the chassis is almost flawless:One small bubble on the veneer above the frequency selector knob by the trim.Small scratch on edge of face plate glass but perfect faceplate otherwiseSmall nick on upper right corner of frame by the frequency selector knobPip light not working on frequency pointerOne display illuminator light out - other three workYou will see by the pictures that the above mentioned are hard to see because they are very minor flaws in this otherwise vintage time-machine find! It is not uncommon for the pip light to be burned out but is replaceable as is the one backlight. Back end connectors and ports in excellent condition and work.Original "Walnut Veneer" advert sticker still attachedOriginal operators manual is also present with relevant specs for new ownerOriginal wire dipole antennaRCA connectors for tape player (not included) was with receiver when I procured it - may have been original perk from Pacific Stereo when unit was sold. Please be aware that these vintage machines can be sensitive to vibrations when shipped. Really just a nice piece and I will take extra care when shipping it to you.
