The special ones ordered by the Shah of Iran were intended as gift to each of his Army Generals. Rolex Service Center in Beverly Hills confirmed that the 36 Series was made between 1972 and 1973, but never in Solid Rose Gold. The watch is over 45 years old, and it looks like it was purchased yesterday! Original genuine wood box, and green printed box are included (as shown). In July of 1999, this unique watch was serviced, for the first time, at the official ROLEX SERVICE CENTER in Beverly Hills, California. This is when the history of this watch was pulled out!
